Legal basis
Processing the data needed to respond to an enquiry, prepare a quote or take requested steps before contracting is based on pre-contractual measures taken at the data subject’s request.
When you contract a product or service, processing necessary to manage the job is based on performance of the contractual relationship.
Certain data must be retained or processed to comply with legal obligations, particularly tax, accounting and administrative requirements.
Where specific processing requires your consent, it will be requested expressly and you may subsequently withdraw it.
Data retention
Data relating to enquiries and quote requests that do not lead to an order will be retained only for the time reasonably necessary to handle and follow up the request and may subsequently be deleted once no longer necessary.
